Biography
Vikram Passi received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and system design technology from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvainla-Neuve, Belgium, in October 2011. He was a Researcher from March 2004 to February 2005 at AMO GmbH, Aachen, Germany, working in the field of fabrication and characterization of advanced MOSFETs. He joined the Université Catholique de Louvain in 2005, where he began his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Raskin. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Institut d’Electronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologie (IEMN), Villeneuve, d’Ascq, France. His main research interests are in the fabrication and electromechanical characterization of silicon nanowires on both conventional and nonconventional (flexible) substrates.
